Chicago Bears star Eddie Jackson teaches youth about home ownership and investments

Eddie who is an investor with Chicago-based Kinexx Modular Construction brought the youth to the Harrison Row Townhomes development to teach them about financial literacy.

 

This group of boys and girls living on Chicago’s West Side learned about investments, home ownership, and how to build generational wealth. 

Eddie Jackson to receive Ed Block Courage Award

Safety Eddie Jackson was presented with the Bears' 2022 Ed Block Courage Award Tuesday, March 14, at a luncheon at Manzo's Banquets in Des Plaines.

 

The prestigious awards are presented to one player on all 32 NFL teams who best exemplifies a commitment to sportsmanship and courage and serves as an inspiration in the locker room. The award recipients, who are voted for by their teammates, symbolize professionalism, great strength and dedication, and they are considered community role models.

Eddie Jackson ‘ready to chase greatness’ with Chicago Bears

"Before leaving Chicago, though, Jackson held a charity softball game on Saturday as a fundraiser for Goodwill and his Remain to Reach Foundation, which seeks to help teenagers who have been jailed."

"Portion of it goes out to Goodwill [Industries of Metropolitan Chicago] and my Remain to Reach Foundation for juvenile kids and teenagers that come from rough backgrounds. I just want to say thank you to everyone for showing up."

"Jackson was talking baseball — and this week’s Crosstown Showdown — while standing behind the plate at Boomers Stadium in Schaumburg. He was hosting his first celebrity softball game, with proceeds going to Goodwill and his own Remain to Reach foundation, which provides resources for teenagers looking to rebuild their lives after being jailed."
